Curatorial Programme of Contemporary Glass
CAP selection is a curated selection of contemporary studio glass. Each edition follows its own curatorial concept — sometimes presenting 12 works by different artists, at other times focusing on a single artist, a particular body of work, or an intergenerational dialogue.
What remains constant is the selection itself: works with a story, technical mastery, a strong presence in space, and genuine potential for collectors.
How does CAP work?
CAP is built on three pillars: curatorial selection, limited time and a personal approach.
- Exactly 12 works: Each edition of CAP selection presents twelve carefully selected works by leading Czech artists. A focused selection of pieces that deserve to be seen — for the artist behind them, their technique, distinctive artistic language, spatial presence or potential for collectors.
- Online launch of each new edition: On the first day of every new edition, we unveil the selection online. Until then, all works remain concealed. Together, we reveal their details, structure and story.
- 2 months in the gallery: Each CAP selection edition is available for a limited time. The works can be viewed in the gallery for two months, after which the selection changes. What comes together in one edition today may never appear in the same form again.
